R35 GT-R Performance Tuning
We bought Nissan R35 GT-R in December 2007, and have been using the car as our R&D test mule. All of the AutoSelect GTR35 performance parts and cosmetics parts are tested on the road and on the track with our car.
As for the tuning process, we use Nissan ConsultIIIplus for diagnosis and services to make everything sure. These services by using Nissan authorized diagnosis devices are basically available only at NHPC, Nissan High Performance Center, and only handful thirdparty garages own the ConsultIIIplus.
For ECM and TCM tuning, we recommend and use Cobb Tuning AccessPORT. This device can upload reprogrammed ECM/TCM data to the vehicle, and very flexible for remapping and reprogramming.
The advantage of AutoSelect's performance tuning is our afterservices. Sometimes Nissan dealerships don't accept tuned GTRs for servicing at NHPC, but we always welcome such a modified GTR and GTR owners with our advanced devices and equipment.
Here we introduce some tuning stages.
Stage １
This is the first step performance tuning program for original Nissan GT-R owners. We design the "cost-effective" performance tuning based on discussion with you. Mainly this Stage 1 tuning includes AccessPORT remapping, higher boost pressure setting by HKS EVC, the boost pressure controller, and exhaust system. Usually you can achieve approx 570ps with 1.0-1.1 bar boost pressure.
Stage 2
This is the additional menu on top of the Stage 1 tune. SARD catalizer, suction pipe kit. Basically this program is the best and highest performance tuning for street GTRs. You can achieve approx 600-620ps and it is the maximum output using standard turbochargers and fuel system. At this stage, we recommend you to upgrade the brake system to give better braking performance for the bigger engine power.
Stage 3
This Stage 3 tuning menu is the extreme program for you who wants the best of the best.
You will achieve approx 700ps with the "High Flow" turbochargers and big capacity fuel system and MAF sensors. As for exhaust system, we recommend you to use "straight structure" exhaust system, and you may need the suspensions sytem and brake system as well.
Engine internal will also need upgrades. High profile camshafts, engine processing and HKS GT800 Kit are our recommended performance program.
By using HKS GT800 Kit, you may achieve over 750ps.
